Better Together - Teachers Teach Teachers
It was a wonderful Summer day at CSUF. The Titan Gym seems to overflow with teachers from every corner. They have come together from many different school districts and schools, to share and learn from their fellow teachers. California Teachers Summit - Better Together held its proud 2nd annual Summit on July 29th Friday. CSUF had more than 1000 participants and overall Southern California 15,000 teachers participated.
Watch below the keynote speaker Ernie Hudson the Actor who had rose above poverty and succeeded in life. His life story certainly offer an inspiration to the world.

Then we heard from the Ed Talk speaker, Holly Steele an amazing story of how Kindergartners help their twitter buddies from Texas.

Important message from Kelly Gallagher, Teacher , Author, Anaheim Union School District. Make the students practice more writing. This is essential in today's world regardless of the profession you chose. Kelly quoted from David T Conley's book, College Knowledge: "If we can institute one change to make students college ready it would be to increase the quality of writing expect to produce."
